A calm, professional approach to colonic hydrotherapy

Colonic hydrotherapy is a very gentle treatment. This treatment uses warm filtered water, introduced gradually into the colon using simply the force of gravity.
At Gut Feeling, your treatment is carried out personally by me, Geri in a private environment near Bridgwater, Somerset.
I understand that having a colonic for the first time can feel unfamiliar and you may have questions about what happens, how it feels or whether you will feel embarrassed. That’s completely normal and I will explain the treatment before we begin, answer your questions and protect your privacy and dignity throughout your appointment.

Dont just take our word for it

Tracey

I have just had my first session with Geri and would like to recommend her to anyone who would benefit from this service. I recieved a herbal infusion to soothe the colon and a probiotic boost to support my microbiome. Geri has a friendly, professional holistic approach.

Nicole

Very experienced and approachable for a topic that may seem to many embarrassing. Great knowledge and advice, very clean organised and just a lovely relaxing environment to be in. Geri was so welcoming and lovely, very easy to converse with and made you feel so relaxed and any awkwardness that you may feel was non-existent the minute you meet. Highly recommend, will be going back very soon

Colonic Hydrotherapy

Following a Colonic Hydrotherapy treatment, I can offer a probiotic implant, a concentrated infusion of beneficial bacteria, delivered straight to the gut. This bypasses the stomachs acid and allows the live bacteria to immediately interact with the bowel lining, increasing absorption and retention. This can be especially beneficial for people who have undergone a course of antibiotics, are under a lot of stress, who travel abroad frequently, those on pharmaceutical drugs and women taking the contraceptive pill. The treatment improves the gut flora and can help to reduce flatulence and bloating as well as assisting with skin disorders, allergies, constipation, diarrhoea, IBS and yeast infections.

Coffee Enema

This treatment will help to detoxify the liver, as well as cleansing and healing the colon. As a consequence, peristalsis will improve and energy levels and mood will improve.

Parasite Cleanse

Parasites are tiny organisms that sometimes live in your gut and can disrupt the balance of your microbiome. This can manifest in symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog, wind and bloating. I use a blend of natural herbs to eliminate these bacteria and to restore balance of the gut biome’

Meet Geri

Geri Charlton MARCH

ARCH Registered Colonic Hydrotherapist

My interest in colonic hydrotherapy developed through personal experience and seeing first-hand how important digestive health and bowel wellbeing can be to everyday life.

That interest led me to undertake professional training in colonic hydrotherapy, including training with Roger Groos, one of the co-founders of the Association of Registered Colon Hydrotherapists (ARCH).

Today, I welcome clients to Gut Feeling from Bridgwater, North Petherton and across Somerset.

My approach is simple: professional treatment in a relaxed environment, with plenty of time to talk, ask questions and feel comfortable.

What happens during colonic hydrotherapy?

If you’ve never had colonic hydrotherapy before, not knowing what to expect can often be the biggest concern.

Your appointment begins with a consultation and an opportunity to discuss your health, any concerns you have and the treatment itself.

During the treatment, filtered water is gently introduced into the colon using specialist equipment. Gut Feeling uses a closed system, with waste carried directly away through the equipment.

You remain covered during the treatment and your privacy and dignity are maintained throughout.

Geri may also use gentle abdominal massage during the treatment.

A treatment typically lasts around 45 minutes, although your complete appointment may take longer to allow time for consultation and discussion.
