Meet Geri
ARCH Registered Colonic Hydrotherapist
Hello, I’m Geri, the therapist behind Gut Feeling.
My journey into colonic hydrotherapy began through personal experience and an increasing interest in digestive and bowel health.
After seeing the difference treatment made to someone close to me, I became fascinated by the subject and ultimately decided to train professionally so that I could work with others.
Professional training
I undertook professional training in colonic hydrotherapy and had the privilege of training with Roger Groos, one of the co-founders of the Association of Registered Colon Hydrotherapists (ARCH).
I am a member of ARCH and continue to maintain the professional standards and ongoing development required of my membership.
For me, those professional standards are particularly important because colonic hydrotherapy is such a personal treatment.
Clients should be able to understand who is treating them, ask questions and feel confident about the environment in which their treatment takes place.
Why I created Gut Feeling
I wanted Gut Feeling to feel different from a busy clinical environment.
The treatment space is based in the small village of Rhode, between Bridgwater and North Petherton, and provides a private setting where appointments can be calm and unhurried.
I know that some clients arrive feeling nervous — particularly if they’ve never experienced colonic hydrotherapy before. That’s okay.
My role isn’t simply to perform a treatment. It’s also to explain what’s happening, listen to your concerns, answer your questions and help you feel comfortable throughout your appointment.
Professional, but personal
No two people arrive at Gut Feeling with exactly the same experiences or concerns.
That’s why I ask new clients to complete a health questionnaire before attending.
It gives me an opportunity to understand relevant information about you before treatment and means we can use your appointment time effectively.
If there’s something you’d like to ask before booking, please feel free to contact me. There really aren’t any silly questions.
